This policy explains what information Family Table LLC ("we," "us") collects through
Leadership Lab enrollment, our website, and our program platform, and how we use, share,
and protect it. Because most of our students are minors, all information described here is
collected directly from a parent or guardian on the student's behalf, not from the student
independently.
Information We Collect
- Student information: full name, date of birth, grade, current school.
- Parent/guardian information: name, relationship to student, phone, email, mailing address.
- Emergency contact & medical information: emergency contact name/phone/relationship, and any allergies, medical conditions, or medications you tell us about for in-person gatherings.
- Funding information: how tuition will be paid, including an EPIC Student ID if applicable, or another organization's contact info.
- Assessment responses: the starting-point and (when built) follow-up leadership assessments completed by student and guardian.
- Photos/video: only if you check the media-consent box on the application, taken at in-person gatherings.
- Basic technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type) collected automatically by our hosting provider, used only for security and site reliability.
How We Use It
- To evaluate and process enrollment applications.
- To deliver the program: curriculum access, gathering logistics, progress tracking.
- To bill and report to EPIC (Extended Public Instructional Choices) or another funding organization, limited to the fields required for that purpose — we do not send EPIC your emergency contact or medical information.
- To reach you about your student's enrollment, schedule changes, or programming.
- To improve the curriculum and program based on aggregated, de-identified assessment trends.
- To feature your student in marketing (photos/social media/website) — only if you've opted in via the media-consent checkbox. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We share it only with:
- EPIC or another funding organization you designate, limited to what's required to verify enrollment and process payment.
- Service providers that operate parts of our program on our behalf — currently Netlify (application/assessment form hosting) and Google Workspace (internal enrollment records) — each bound to use your data only to provide that service to us.
- Legal or safety exceptions: if required by law, or to protect the safety of a student or others.
Data Retention
We keep enrollment and financial records for as long as your student is enrolled, plus
the period required for our own tax and business recordkeeping afterward. You can request
deletion of non-financial records (like assessment responses) at any time; we'll honor
that request except where we're required to keep something for legal or tax purposes.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including relying on
established, reputable providers (Netlify, Google) for storage rather than building our
own systems. No online system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
As a parent or guardian, you can ask us at any time to show you what information we have
on file for your student, correct it, or delete it (subject to the retention limits

and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and,
for significant changes, notify enrolled families directly by email.
